ROA Series On @KnownOrigin | From Painted to Corrupted!

Minting my multi-layered mixed-media pieces on KnownOrigin as NFTs. This little series of 15 images started its life off as paintings… but even before I glitch my artwork my paintings already look somewhat corrupted because of the way I lather paint generously and dynamically over the surface. I’ve been painting this way for the past 12 years. Experimentation is one of the most important components of my practice whether with fine art or technology. I enjoy finding ways to bring art/tech together.

Why is this? It all boils down to me being an Intermedia artist that started my artistic journey as a fine art painter. I just find it absolutely amazing to merge the paintings/writing I make in the most Intermedia of fashions by mixing the traditional with the technical. After all, Intermedia means to exist between EVERYTHING… Between media!
